That is, now as before, the teams will be seen playing half the match on their respective home ground and half the match on the home ground of other teams. Along with this, the Women’s IPL is also going to start from next year. This important information has come to the fore in an email sent by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly to the state units.

Ganguly made an email to the state association on Tuesday. According to this, the IPL, which has been played on a limited venue for the last three seasons due to Kovid-19, will now be played on the basis of home and away ground as before. Ganguly has written, ‘The matches will be played in the home-away format in the IPL from next season. All 10 teams will play their home matches on their grounds.

Women’s IPL to start from next year
Sourav Ganguly has written, ‘BCCI is currently working on the women’s IPL. We are hoping that its first season will start early next year. More details will become clear in the coming time.

Under-15 tournament for girls
Sourav Ganguly wrote in the email, ‘I am very happy to inform that we are also going to start the Under-15 Girls tournament from this season. Women’s cricket is progressing well all over the world and our national team is also performing well. This new tournament will guide the girls to reach the international level.
