MP High Court asks NTA for OMR sheet of student, got 0 marks in NEET exam

Today english news:

Zero Marks In NEET: The Madhya Pradesh High Court has sought from the National Testing Agency the original record of a girl child who secured zero marks in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted this year for admission to medical colleges. Justice Subodh Abhyankar of Indore bench has issued this direction on the petition of Lipakshi Patidar (19), a resident of Agra-Malwa district on Tuesday.

The counsel for the central government sought a week’s time to produce the original records, which the court has admitted for the next hearing on September 30. Petitioner’s counsel Dharmendra Chelawat submitted that Ms. Patidar had answered 161 out of 200 questions in NEET 2022 held on July 17. The girl was confident of getting good marks. She said that when the results came on September 7, she was shocked to know that she got zero marks.

The girl student has got more than 80 percent marks in 10th and 12th

The lawyer said that the optical mark recognition (OMR) answer sheet was sent to him through e-mail. The counsel argued that Patidar had secured more than 80 per cent marks in class 10 and 12 examinations and suspects that his OMR sheet has been tampered with.
