Ilyasi On Mohan Bhagwat: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat met Imam Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, head of ‘All India Imam Sangathan’, at a mosque in Delhi on Thursday. The meeting took place in a closed room at the Kasturba Gandhi Marg mosque for more than an hour. The office of All India Imam Organization is located here.

Ilyasi calls Mohan Bhagwat ‘Father of the Nation’

After this important meeting, Ilyasi said that our DNA is one, only the way of worshiping Allah is different. He said that Mohan Bhagwat is the father of the nation and we all believe that the nation is paramount. Apart from this, Imam Umar Ahmed Ilyasi said, “Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat visited the madrasa on his invitation and also interacted with the children here.”

Had a meeting with Muslim intellectuals even two days ago

In fact, two days ago, former vice-chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt Gen (Retd) Zamiruddin Shah, former MP Shahid Siddiqui and philanthropist Saeed Sherwani were also present in the meeting held at the temporary office of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). During the two-hour long meeting, there were extensive discussions on strengthening communal harmony and improving inter-community relations.

Bhagwat may meet Kashmir leaders

According to media reports, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat may also meet some Muslim leaders of Kashmir in the coming days. This is considered necessary from the point of view of maintaining peace in the Valley after the resumption of electoral politics in Kashmir.
